Dezan Shira & Associates Shares Expert Insights on Indonesia’s Packaging and Investment Landscape

On May 23, 2025, Dezan Shira & Associates was pleased to contribute to the China–Indonesia Investment Sharing Session held in Shenzhen, co-hosted by Global Law Firm and RX Global. The event gathered a strong audience online, with over 1,000 attendees participating to explore the evolving investment landscape in Indonesia.

Representing the firm, Jennifer Halim, our Indonesia Country Manager, delivered a keynote presentation on “Indonesia’s Packaging Industry and Investment Landscape”. In her session, Jennifer shared in-depth analysis of Indonesia’s manufacturing trends, highlighting the country’s strategic role for Chinese enterprises seeking to overcome domestic overcapacity and access regional growth opportunities under RCEP.

In her presentation, Jennifer emphasized the growing importance of Indonesia’s packaging sector, which is being driven by robust development in manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, and other high-consumption industries.

Her insights received highly positive feedback from attendees, with many praising the professionalism and depth of the presentation. The forum offered valuable multidimensional perspectives—from policy and industry analysis to legal and tax considerations—providing clear guidance for companies expanding into Indonesia.

We thank Global Law Firm and RX Global for organizing the event and for the opportunity to share our knowledge. As always, Dezan Shira & Associates remains committed to supporting our clients with practical insights and tailored advice as they expand across Asia.
